The program IS the firewall, straight out of the box, it offers the best
protection once set-up.
Set this up and do not open any extra ports and you are fine from hackers.

Hi:
I am learning my way around with the 'ShareTheNet' product. While I
rummaged through most of the files I did not discover any firwalling
rules. I am connected through a cable modem to the internet and for
that reason I am somewhat concerned about hacking attempts.
Accordingly, I request information as to which files contains the
firewall rules. Should such file not exist, I would appreciate
directions which file to edit in order to add firewall rules.
Moreover, if someone out there has set up a file and would like to
share, I would be grateful.
