Just a follow up so that if anyone else experiences this problem maybe
this would help. I did get the default tulip driver to work without any
need for a newer driver or change. What I had done was to explicitly set
the IRQ and the base addresses for both of my NIC cards. The NE2000
type was easily detected and driver loaded. The tulip driver never
loaded or detected the Kingston KNE100TX. After many different attempts
I decided to rebuild my machine with my RedHat Linux 6.1 which saw both
of my NICs and successfully loaded both drivers. Hmmmmmm.
So looking at that setup I noticed that it Autosensed the IRQs. So back
to STN and I set the AutoIRQ on with no base addresses. STN detected
both cards and loaded the drivers successfully.
