I would suggest putting a second nic in your proxy server(wingate??), if I
remember right. Then put the Wingate machine and the SAMBA server on a
seperate hub and subnet.(192.168.0.x). Put the other machines and the
second nic in your Wingate server and put it on 192.168.1.x subnet. Then
the other machines cann't bypass the proxy server<PERIOD>. Unless they move
the eithernet drop from their machine to the other hub!

WinNT and Win98 support multiple NICs. It's harder to configure in Win98
than WinNT, but it can be done. Under Win98, it has to be done with
registry edits and best done with the resource kit firmly in hand.

Then setup up the STN server to server two subnets(documented in the FAQ's
for STN).
