To add my 2 cents. . .
I -was- running a WinNT 4.0 server (standalone) with IIS2 and Proxy
Server 2 as my gateway/proxy.
I am now running STN as my gateway/firewall, and am going to set up my
wife's machine so she can telnet to MLS (for her real-estate job)
through it too. Saves us much headaches fighting over the "computer's"
phone line! All the machines in my software lab can work just like they
were on a full-time network. . . Cool!!
All I need to do is get a smaller box, put it up on a shelf (with a
UPS), and forget it. Try that with NT!! (especially the
set-it-and-forget-it strategy!)
