Printer server problem again,,,
There is a printer server for linux made by Steve Flynn, it can be put in 1
floopy, and there are other mini linux distribution that do NAT with print
server, however please do not ask me for it. Not fair to STN. Search for
your self.
I have use Steve Flynn, print server, u need client software, like LPR from
ASCIT, or Intelliscribe V5 from Brooke Software. (these are not free) From
my experience, althro it convenience to use and make that mini linux print,
its more problematic then it worth. Firstly the printer sometime hang,
sometime it print blank pages (most of the time - separator page) and other
problem, if implemented, I will see tons of question regading printer
problem here.
Steve Flynn, print server can fit into, STN disk, and its free, and let John
figure it out how to do that.
I would recommend to just use window print sharing for printing need.
