Hi, folks.

It does seem that it was my floppy drive. I changed it out and it has been
running for a couple of days without these errors.

However, I now get some completely different messages. They don't break the
connection, but I wonder if anyone can tell me what they mean?

I get this message frequently:

Jul 9 21:26:36 (none) named[371]: accept: Connection reset by peer
Jul 9 21:26:36 (none) last message repeated 2 times

Sometimes the second message says 5 times.

I also get this occasionally:

Jul 9 21:40:15 (none) named[371]: dangling CNAME pointer
(gd9.doubleclick.net)
Jul 9 21:40:16 (none) named[371]: dangling CNAME pointer
(md1.doubleclick.net)

Can anyone enlighten me on these messages? I assume they are the result of
turning debug on in my STN setup, but I'd still like to know what they are
telling me.

Cheers,
Carl
