Hi all
I have been running Share The Net on a K6-2 machine
for a while now, but now
have got my hands on an 486 that I would like to use
for STN so The K6
machine is free to use as webserver/SQL server.
My problem is that the 486 won't start STN.
It reaches the line saying "Loading initrd.qz..." when
if freeze up with the
disk light still on.
The machine config is as follows :
IBM PS1 486 SX 33
16 M Ram
Onboard CL-GD5426 1024 Video Controller
1 Planet NE2000 Comp ISA netcard
1 D-Link D220 ISA netcard
The same error happens if I try to boot STN from HD
But I am able to boot dos and e.g. run Partition Magic
(Dos) without any
problems
Does anyone have any idea about what is wrong here
