John,
Yes, that is the gist of what I want to do. Now I am not a *nix person, so I
have no idea of exactly what steps to take. I have the system working on a
HD now, so size is not an issue. If you can give me a link to the ppp*.tgz
files and tell me what lines to add to the Manual Startup Commands window,
I'll give it a shot.
I don't think I will be taxing the system too much, the serial PPP will only
be hit once a day and the two internal ethernet cards only have two or three
machines each on them.
I like the security of STN and the ease of management of the http interface.
I don't want to mess with having to learn *nix for my firewall. That is why
I paid your license fee and why I have sent several people to your site over
the last couple of years.
Thanks,
Stan

question!)
What you really probably need to do is put the ppp*.tgz files on the
diskette too. You'll then need to kill the pppd and rewrite it's config
file in the startup script so that it acts as a server. This is probably
going to push the limit of a 1.44mb floppy, so you may end up having to
format a 1.7mb (there are some windows programs to do that or you can use
Linux). You're actually pushing the limits of STN here too, it may be time
to migrate to a full-blown copy of Linux.
