you should use the folowing command if you want to ftp thru port 8080
ipautofw A -r tcp 8080 8080 -c tcp 8080
So you should replace 8080 by 2121 and you are in business

try using PASV mode. Regular FTP doesn't work through a NAT router (any
NAT, not just STN), all you have to do is enable PASV (ie. Passive Mode).

Ok i want to connect to a friends ftp its on poort 2121(he can't change it)
but the sharethenet does not allow this to connect! it goes through the
usersname and pass but holds at the list command! normal ftp works great(21)
and without sharethenet pc 2121 work to. what up?
