One of them is PNP but I disabled it with the 3c5x9cfg ?? utility using a DOS boot
disk. The only gotcha with this is that you must do a power-of/on reboot make the
changes take.

Most drivers will scan along the PCI bus slot, by slot and ISA buses using a table of
preffered IO
addresses. But a PCI machine may have several PCI buses on different bridge chips so
the slot
ordering may not be as simple as it seems
