I agree with most, but here is my $0.02:
1) Keep the $70 - you had the first product to market, and it worked for
most of my needs. BTW: Real geeks don't buy "DSL Cable Routers" - they
build them out of spare parts and downloaded software!
2) Find a way to install it onto a hard drive; Although its a nice
feature to run entirely off of a floppy, it isn't my #1 "gotta-have"
feature.
3) I HATE MICROSOFT PRODUCTS - hence, although I am a real STN fan, I
somewhat resent having to fire up a wintel box just to configure STN and
cut a floppy. Is there anyway you could prompt for configuration
parameters on the STN box?
4) After long idle periods (24 - 48hrs), I find that my cable modem
sometimes needs to be rebooted - if it has been in a hung or in an
undefined state for quite a while, it may receive a different IP address
from the ISP DHCP server. In addition, it will want to hand STN a new IP
address too, and this sometimes isn't recognized by STN. Anyway, this
would be an enhancement I would be looking for: Recognize new DHCP info
on the fly.
