Here's the deal (for John L, et.al.)
Due to my schedule, I do not get to do this very often.... However
there is a computer club (on Long Island - meeting this coming Saturday,
9/8/01) that I would like to do a STN demo for. It is likely that I
will be able to actually make a meeting!
Sure-as-hell they're likely to want one. At least some of the people
there are sure to have older computers laying around that they could use
for a STN box - and would not mind getting their hands dirty a bit to
set it up.
They're also likely to want to run it for longer than the 30 min demo
time.
SO - the $64,000 question is - is this beastie still out there? Is the
-registered- version also available (I know the web site is still up...)
Is the fee the same? (and so on, and so on....)
I would appreciate an answer ASAP, so that I can prepare a demo.

And p.s. before everyone jumps my bones about STN being ancient history
- there is this or that much better product for free, etc. etc.... Which
I already know - and will fully stipulate.
The reason I want to do a -STN- demo - and not a freesco demo, or LOAF,
or a dozen others, is that this thing may not have all the bells and
whistles - but it sets up in a flash, and is damn near bullet proof.
This will get them going. If they want to fuss around with the others,
they sure can.... later....
