STN never did support PCMCIA and it still does not to this day.  

I am no longer able to support STN as it only builds on RH 4.2 and I no
longer have a build machine for it.  While I know of no security
problems, the software it's based on is now rather old and there are
probably vulnerabilities.  There are several alternative hardware and
software products/projects available and I now suggest you migrate to
one of them.  However, if you do wish to use STN in the future you may
do so at no further cost.  You can use the following registration code:
