Hi, John:
Been running STN 2.1 for a week or more now, and I'm having trouble with the inbound
services. First, I can only administer these services from my internal network, not
the Internet. I have the external option turned on in the setup, and I can connect to
my STN box from the outside world, and run the web admin tool. It's just that when I
make changes to the inbound services, and click OK, the form resets to all blanks.
This behavior is exibited whether I'm in IE or Netscape.
Secondly, when I *do* get inbound services set up by running the tool from my local
network, they only last until I reboot the STN server.
Any ideas?
My hope is to be able to keep services turned off until I need them, then use the Web
tool from the outside to turn a service on, use it, then turn the service back off.
Is this feasible?
