John,
A lot of us will sigh with relief. STN is a lean fit fast product and
doesn't need bulking up. If you were to do a print server product perhaps it
could be a separate software addon to STN that is configured and installed
separately but runs as a peripheral process to an already installed STN
core. Maybe this would be OK for all those who want to use and boot from
HDUs, and would leave the core product basically alone for us types who want
to do the floppy thing. Just a thought.
Regards,
Steve.

Subject: [ShareTheNet] is a print server to? Sorry, no.
Hi everyone,
After looking at code and experimenting with the current lpd server, I just
don't see how ShareTheNet can act as a print server with any reliability.
Regards,
John
