STN makes it possible for an average human being to set up a router
that works - "ease of use" is the goal, not just an afterthought.

LRP makes it possible for Linux "hacks" to argue endlessly in a small
forum over what features and "enhancements" might be required - all the
while completely ignoring the needs of the average user - and any
"ease of use" issues which might get in the way of pure hacking...8-).

To summarize - if you want to assemble a working router in short order,
use STN.  If you want to theorize, pontificate, and otherwise engage in
a technological "circle-jerk" - use LRP...
