Hi there... I'll keep this brief...
If anyone needs further info to help me,
please mail direct to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I've used WS_FTP for some time through my normal ISP
connection, and have switched to STN in the last week
(Excellent product, btw...)

WS_FTP has firewall and passive (PASV) abilities
but I cant seem to get the right combination (if
any) needed to actually complete a connection.

I connect, but when I try to list the site I'm
connecting to in the Remote Host window, it simply
times out...

Complicate this with the fact that I'm connecting to a MUD(Multi-User Dungeon)
ftp-server whose port address
is 2021 not the normal 21, and the waters get real
muddy... Perhaps I need to setup a user-inbound service
to get the control-return info WS_FTP is looking for.

This is also the case for DOS-window FTP command on
my Windows-95 workstation... I connect, but it hangs
at the ls command...

I'll try a normal ftp site next, perhaps, to try clarify my problem...

Thanks in advance...

Paul.
