I've been looking for more details on the vulnerabilities in BIND - as far
as I can tell, the Bind 4.9 and Bind 8 product may be suspect. Take a look
at http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-98.05.bind_problems.html
Granted, these advisories were published in April of '98 and last updated in
November of '98 - so I would think that later releases of BIND would have
been repaired.
