[ShareTheNet] what machine to use

Hi out there   I'm right now using an AMD k6-2 333 machine to run ShareTheNet wich I find to be somehow a waste of this computer.   Have anyone tried to run it on e.g. a 486 DX 40 with 16 M, which I can get my hands on allmost for free.   Will there be any change in speed that I can feel.     Thanks in advance   Farouche
