I didn't record how long mine had been running.....but it was about 4 months
before my ISP had a DHCP outage that left the STN box all confused (I tried
relaunching DHCP from the command prompt, but that didn't work).
Occasionally the logon service for RoadRunner stops working, which causes
rrlogind to abort on the box....but I just relaunch it from the command prompt
and all is fine again.
I have my box and the cable modem on a UPS, so its survived a few power
outages.
After the DHCP outage, I took the opportunity to upgrade to 2.13 (from the
2.10 beta that I had been running since February).
One thing, is there some way to turn off the stats messages from named every
hour in syslog? I would like to see the other messages in syslog....
