I have been using sharethenet now for a month, and I think I
have it set up pretty reliably. The only problem I have is with icq. I
have 3 computers, all running different operating systems and
different versions of icq, and, in the event that they connect at all, it
is sporadic, and can disconnect often.
Does anybody have any tried and true solutions for this
problem?
My thought is to install a socks5 server on the sharethenet
box. Does anybody have any ideas for a standalone socks5 proxy
server that will fit on the disk? I have one that looks like it will fit in
400k (including binary and libs). If it could be shrunken to about
150-200k, it might be possible. Anybody?
