Hi,
I am trying to run STN on a 486 PC for my DSL connection, but get error
messages in boot process and it halts.

The blah blah part in the above segment was a little too long, but if it
helps,
I will write them down. I think ethernet cards are being recognized (though
I can't say for sure because the screen passes so quickly during boot up and
it gives the above error). I suspect that this may be because of the faulty
onboard memory that came with the PC. Yes, it has 8MB of onboard memory
that cannot be replaced. I did have some trouble installing Win95 onto
this PC before, but I WAS able to install linux. If someone can enlighten
me, I would really appreciate it.
