Richard,

STN supports PPTP (VPN) as is. I have been running MS VPN through STN since
May this year with excellent results. A word of caution though, PPTP uses
GRE Protocol 47 and needs TCP port 1723 enabled through all firewalls and
routers in the connecting path. The problems I initially had were due to my
ISP not enabling the protocol through one router.
