Hello,

I am trying to get the inbound services working on my STN router. In
short, it doesn't work when forwarding to my Linux boxes, but it does
work when I send it to one of my NT boxes. I found a larger problem
(which is probably causing the inbound services problem) while trying to
trouble shoot the inbound services problem.

It seems that my linux boxes behind the STN router can't make it out to
the internet. I checked all of my subnet masks and gateway settings and
they are correct (as far as I can tell). I checked the STN settings and
made sure the linux boxes matched them, and they do. Here are my
settings.

STN
----
IP: 192.168.1.50 (I know... should be .1)
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Broadcast: 192.168.1.255
Network: 192.168.1.0

Linux Box #1
------------
IP: 192.168.1.1 (old PPP gateway)
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Broadcast: 192.168.1.255
Network: 192.168.1.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.50

Linux Box #2
-------------
IP: 192.168.1.11 (with virtual 192.168.1.12 for apache)
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Broadcast: 192.168.1.255
Network: 192.168.1.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.50

Both linux boxes can ping every machine on the network behind the
router, but when I try to ping a domain name or IP address outside the
network, no luck. So, if I point an inbound service at one of the linux
boxes, it doesn't work.

Any ideas? Is there something I missed?

Thanks,
Curt
