Dear Sharity Users,
we have released version 2.6 of Sharity last weekend.
The following has been changed with respect to 2.5:
Bugs fixed:
* Fixed crash when accessing more than 47 levels in the directory hierarchy.
* Fixed possible crash when no browse server is found.
* Prevent automatic unmounts on Mac OS X.
New Features:
* New option to override security mode reported by server.
New Mac OS X specific feature:
* Sharity mounts can now be unmounted with "Eject" from Finder in OS X 10.1
* Automatic mounts can now be made permanent by storing the mount and your
login.
Upgrades for current users of 2.x versions are free, your current 2.x
license key works for this version, too.

Binaries for IRIX and HP-UX 10.20 are still missing. We expect to have an
IRIX binary within the next two weeks (somebody removed the development
environment and we have to re-install). The HP-UX machine was upgraded to
HP-UX 11 and we therefore provide HP-UX 11 instead of 10.20 binaries now.
FUTURE PERSPECTIVES
We are currently testing a new frontend for Sharity which will break the 2
GB file size limit. This means that Sharity 2.7 will have virtually no limit
for the size of files. We expect to release betas for 2.7 soon.
