The screenshots have been taken with Mac OS X 10.0 or even the Public Beta. These versions did not display NFS mounts at the root level. Since 10.1 (I think, maybe even earlier), Apple has added these mounts (and Sharity masquarades as an NFS mount) at the root level of Finder. Regards, Christian. -- Dipl.-Ing.
