Dear Sharity Users,
OBJECTIVE DEVELOPMENT Software GmbH has released Sharity 3 Beta 2 today.

Sharity 3 is an almost complete rewrite with a focus on efficiency: Efficiency in code size, memory footprint and data throughput. Benefits over current Sharity 2 releases are:

- Supports NTLM, NTLMv2 and Kerberos authentication.
- Integration with Active Directory (LDAP) for resource browsing and
to resolve Windows Security IDs (SIDs) to user names.
- Command line utilities for listing and modifying ACLs and ownership.
- Support for Distributed File System (DFS).
- In-place automounter. Automatically mounted shares (in the browser
and for DFS) can be mounted in-place instead of a separate directory
  for mounts.
- Internationalization for GUI and error messages.

        http://at.obdev.at/mailman/listinfo/sharity3-beta.

Please note that this beta is optimized for debugging, not for speed (no compiler optimization). This may degrade performance.
