Oh yeah we're open to changes. It's still very early. Naturally you'll have to justify the changes with the other active people who are working on it, but more than likely those ideas are good ones and we'll be happy with them. We've already got one guy with a 400 page design paper that he did about this kind of project and although that definitely influences our work, it won't dominate it. Now is a good time to voice your opinion, as we are certainly still early in the project. We usually meet around #sharpos at freenode.
