Another thing that I have already discussed, but not fully / formally 
documented. Check the mailing list archives. The general consensus is an 
LGPL v2 license with commercial dual-licensing for OEM distribution, 
branding, etc. I can't remember specifics of it all. But I had a rather 
thorough debate with William about it at the time. I personally like 
BSD. But LGPL seemed to be okay enough. GPL is out of the question, 
unless we shoehorned in our own "linking exception" clause.
