(I'm posting my response to the developers list, hope you don't mind bruce)

Actually i haven't worked on sharpos for about a month now i think..
Real life, work and another project
(http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1907574989981648678) has
sucked up most of my time,
and my work will probably require a lot of time in the near future too..
(But i'm still committed to this project! don't worry!!)

I did post on the irc log because i noticed that a lot of people where
logged in on irc most of the time, i figured they would be reading the
logs?
(I can't use IRC where i'm currently working though)

It's become a bit fuzzy what exactly the things where that i worked on before..

But i remember that i basically got to the point where memory
management just barely worked.
The pageallocator is still a bit buggy though, especially the method
with which you can allocate a range of pages is really buggy..
(i don't have the code here, so i can't tell you the exact name of the
method.. i think it's called rangealloc)

Once the pageallocator is done, it can then be used in my (temporary)
memory manager which can then be inited with a larger memory block.
(right now it only uses one memory page)

After that we can start implementing v-tables, types and all it's goodness.

The memory manager should eventually be replaced with one that isn't
dependent on having a large block of memory.
