Actually, DarxKies wrote some basic ext2 stuff for the "DiskImageUpdater"
utility he wrote.
But as far as hashing it all out forealz - it would be pointless unless we
wrote an abstraction for it, which we can't do until we get runtime support
up and running. (Runtime = memory management + type info) ("it" = HDD access
and/or file system abstraction)
And without OOP, I don't think you can write it cleanly, but you are
certainly welcome to try! ;-)
