I think you should avoid making any such targeted comments in either direction. Unit testing is nothing new on Cosmos, nor #OS. Neither project is the first to think about or try a managed OS either. As to when "Cosmos was a twinkle in my eye", its likely before you were out of primary school. I know that its back to at least 1988 and when I got heavily involved in .NET in 2002 it was obvious to me .NET was the way to go for it. In fact you might find a few writings of mine if you scour Google groups enough and search by my name or older aliases and "CHAOS" if you really care. As to why we just started recently - it has to do with time... I have kids and have to pay the bills and only recently have I had time to dedicate to such a huge undertaking. I originally joined #OS seeing that it was fresh, to see if it was a good match or not.
