Hello Team,
Since no one (except monocasa and myself) showed up for the second meeting,
I'd like to cancel it. Reading the discussion on the logs, I'm a bit sad I
couldn't make it. Anyways, I'd suggest doing topic meetings instead of these
combined meetings.
Things I would've loved to see in the discussion today are:
- Driver interfaces
- Asynchronous driver interfaces
- Kernel reentrancy (this is going to hit us sooner or later, better
to do it right immediately.)
- Driver stacks (layered approach or not)
Some of this has been covered, but I kind of missed some sort of decision
making summary. Since we're apparently missing a god (someone like Linus) in
this group, I'd again request meetings by topics. It makes it easier for
those interested to get involved and raise their voices. Additionally it
allows to cast votes and select a design choice. Both of these were kind of
missing from my point of view, as there were only three people discussing...
