Hello SharpOS developers and community! Some of you may have noticed me already on the IRC Channel the last days so it's time to introduce myself: My name is Thomas Danecker aka tdanecker - uncreative, I know ;) I'm studying computer science at the Technical University of Vienna - that's in Austria, that German-speaking country south of Germany - not the one with the kangaroos. I love to think about the core ideas, which all our applications rely on. Starting at programming languages, common concepts/patterns, etc. and the mapping of them to the underlying machine - so I should be quite right here :) The list is long. Also concurrency is a big point on that list but unfortunately, the CLI doesn't give us a lot of freedom here because of its rigorous definition of the underlying memory model. Currently I'm in contact with grover and like to help him with the compiler, starting with some tests of his revamped code to get into it. I'm sorry that DarxKies is leaving us. Hopefully he'll keep lurking around giving me the chance to get to know the "assembly deity".
I'm pleased to work with you all on such a great project Thomas Danecker ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
