The SharpOS board, in dire need of someone more active to help run
week-to-week affairs, is extending an invitation to you to join the board.
(Michael Ruck, aka Grover, has also had a similar invitation extended to
him, though he is apparently declining.)
Responsibilities (that no current member of the board can fulfill) would
include coordinating any IRC meetings, finding someone trustworthy (possibly
yourself) to volunteer to host and maintain the SharpOS IRC bot, and helping
make sure everyone gets along. You would also be a voting member of the
board, obviously, and for any issues that either you, or us with regarding
you, are not comfortable deciding on, you can have us as a group vote on.
Regardless as to your acceptance, we thank you for your continuing
contributions and we hope any public discord, including a current lack of
leadership, will not deter future contributions.
Please respond to the primary mailing list with your acceptance or
declination of our offer.
