Is there an email client which passes Google's security? Or can I
strengthen Thunderbird's security to use Google mail?
I didn't answer your mail because I could see that you were getting
plenty of answers from the Fedora Users list. However, I'll reply

Also, mostly forgotten about by pretentious people who claim that
"There are no viruses in GNU/Linux" which is claptrap. You need to
scan for viruses... for example....
clamscan -r --move=/home/USER/.mozilla /home/USER
clamscan -r --move=/home/USER/.cache /home/USER
clamscan -r --move=/home/USER/.thunderbird /home/USER
