Well, I would start with a coolant pressure test as well as a leakdown
test on the cylinders. My fear is that you've got a cracked cylinder
head. Either way water mixing with oil is not a good thing and is a
general indication of a severe failure of the physical barrier between
the water and oil passages.

How did you assemble the gasket? Did you have the head re-surfaced?

Good luck,

Subject: SD> Coolant Problems.

I am having a problem and I really hope someone might be able to help
me. I
have just spent the last few month tearing the engine down on my 87
Shelby Charger (T1) and Removed every piece and blasted and powdercoated
it. I had the block rebuilt and literally replaced every gasket, sensor,
injector, turbo, starter alternator..you name it.. Have more money in
this than I care to admit. It started up beautifully and idles better
than I have ever seen it do it.

When I take it out on the road and apply even the slightest amount of
boost however, it sends pressure through the radiator, blows all my
coolant into the reserve tank and send it all over the ground. Both the
head gasket (Felpro/Mopar kit from FWD Performance) and rebuilt head
(Cylinder Head
International) are NEW The top layer of coolant gets brown foam on it
(Oil
I'm sure) Can it be possible that a brand new head gasket leaks? I can
actually see a very tiny bubbling of oil at the seam of the head and
block just near the #1 cylinder. Is some weeping normal? Should I just
try to re-torque the head? I cant imagine what else could be happening.

Any ideas? I hate the thoughts of having to do a head gasket...AGAIN.
I just got this beast together.

Thanks
