I have been experiencing turbo problems for the past 3 years.
I am half way to getting it fixed, but I have found that is a problem with a
part in the Garrett rebuild kit that is out of spec.
I have emailed Chris at TU, and Gerry Rocha at Honeywell/Garrett.
No replies from either, but my suggestion is to stay away from Garrett products.
One main reason is that Garrett no longer supports the Canadian market.
The other reason is zero support and shotty customer service.
The last reason is that Garrett has no technical support.
Good luck with TU and Garrett turbos, but if I were you, I'd call Turbonetics.

I remember talkin to Chris at TU about that someone having problems like
that some time ago.. He said on a few occasions he found blue rtv inside of
the turbos..
Sence he said this type of ordeal only happened once as an isolated
incident, was that you?
