With the temp sensor unplugged (the two prong sensor on the thermostat
housing), the base timing should be set at 12 degrees BTDC.  It
doesn't matter whether you are using the stock computer or the MP as
they both have the same requirement.   All the timing labels I have
seen on the radiator core supports have shown 12 degrees for the Turbo
I application.
