I am moving (again) and I am now selling off everything and getting out of the hobby for a while. I have a 1987 Daytona Shelby Z that must be sold. The car was my project and is about 80% complete. It is drivable. It has TTops. I am looking to get $500.00 for the car. If I can’t get that selling everything together, I will pull the engine and transmission and sell them and scrap the car. The car is located in York, PA 17403. I have a trailer and will help with delivery, if that is a problem. The sooner I get this out of my garage, the better. I need my garage for moving.
The good: Low mileage (60k) motor A555 Transmission New clutch One new CV axle Runs well Decent tires Decent interior with enthusiast seats… needs a little cleaning. Minimal underbody rust and what was there was POR-15 coated and glassed Extra set of TTops and assorted other parts The car has been stored inside, since restoration started Headlight motors work Windows work The bad: The car was being prepped for painting, so it is sanded, but not primed. It was fully masked, but I have to peel off some of the masking paper to pull the car out of the garage and into the other side. There are no dents or dings on the car, except for the rear bumper. I am including a replacement bumper. I may or may not have some good PPG gray lacquer primer. If I can find some, I will include it upon the request of the buyer.
