I was unsure of the total number of these vehicles produced prior to your email, and I must say that now I am saddened because of a car that wound up in a local junkyard in October 2006. It was a 92 Iroc T1 5 spd car (568), red in color with dark gray cloth interior, ninja rims, sunroof, and orange Shelby decals on front lip of hood and back bumper. My dad had seen this car in a guy's back yard for well over six years. It sat up on cylinder blocks and the guy said he was going to fix it. My dad left our number every time he stopped. But, when my dad decided to take a trip to the j-yard on that day in 10.06, he saw this red Daytona and realized immediately that it was that car :( He called me up and had me drive over to help him get the rims and trans off the car. I went back the following week and took the seats, taillights and panel, valve cover, underhood computer and engine bay wiring. Sold all of those except the rims and tranny as they're being used on a project of ours! now, but what a sad fate for the car. Grant it, it was well rusted through on rockers, floorboards, and spare tire well, but knowing the rareness of these cars now, it could have been saved. It got crushed last month :(Sincerely, Billy Lofink SWPA-SDAC: 'The Steel City Chapter'President, www.swpa-sdac.com SDAC NationalMember, www.sdac.orgTurbo-MoparMember, www.turbo-mopar.com-------------------------------1985 Plymouth Turismo1989 Shelby CSX-VNT #414 -- www.1989CSX.homestead.com1990 Dodge Daytona Shelby1994 Plymouth Sundance _________________________________________________________________ Get the power of Windows + Web with the new Windows Live. http://www.windowslive.com?ocid=TXT_TAGHM_Wave2_powerofwindows_012008 ___________REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING_________ ShelbyDodge mailing list [email protected] http://www.imagilist.com/mailman/listinfo/shelbydodge
