Was working on my daughters 89 LeBaron with 4-cyl turbo. It has the mitsu. There is a line that comes off the wastegate to the wastegate solenoid... ALSO splits and goes to the bottom of the turbo, which is unlike the garret and older turbo cars. Why is this line there? I was trying to test for a vacuum leak as the car over boosts. Is this line to the lower turbo area a vacuum port or something?
It does not hold vacuum there. I am trying to find out why it over boosts.
