Greetings All,
I have some exciting news but at a cost.
For the first time in several years our group will now be in the track located
behind the wall for pit road! We will between the Manufacturers Midway and the
Auction (See attachment). Ok the cost is $100 per car to me in small
denominations for getting this done. Not really, during the meeting yesterday
at the track the promoter said he did move some groups inside because they
showed they were busting their rears to meet their quota. Now to take part in
this we WILL HAVE TO be in position at 7:30 am and cannot leave till 6:00 pm.
I know this makes for a long day but now we will not have to walk so far to see
what we want to see. As for making our quota we were given 10 tickets and I
have 9 spoken for already. Here is the list:
1. Landen Kivett- Dodge Rampage
2. Richie Rich- Dodge Daytona
3. John Rooney- '09 Dodge Challenger R/T
4. Debbie Davis- '07 Dodge Charger R/T
5. Art Davis- Dodge Viper
6. James Davis- Dodge Daytona
7. Mike Walker- Shelby Charger GLHS
8 & 9. Ned Branson- 2 Dodge Neons
10. ?
Now if I get more requests than for this one I should be able to get more
passes. I WILL have to know ASAP to do so. Since the Auto Fair is only 3
weeks away I would like to know by Wednesday March18.
Does anyone have an Easy Up they can bring for shelter from the sun? I do not
think we will have a problem putting it up and it would be great shelter from
the sun and ( I hope it doesn't) rain. Also please email me back to let me
know if you can go and how many passes you will need. I plan to put 2 passes
with each car pass except for one participant who only wants one. Will anyone
need an extra?
