You can buy them new from the parts store.  Plus machine shops can  
resurface the flywheel and replace the ring gear fairly cheaply as well.

With that said, I do have freshly machined T2 flywheel that I'm not  
going to use since I bought an aluminum one.  Let me know if  
interested, it would be around $40 + shipping.

For lightening a steel flywheel, you have to be careful since you  
don't want to weaken it.  It could explode  and you'd have a severely  
broken car or worse fewer toes.  I would lool at a machine shop that  
specializes in high performance work as they would likely be more  
willing to take that work on.

I know my Fiat buddies use PBS Engineering at PBSEng.com.  Though a  
Google search might return other hits.
