There is a pad that the glass slides against that can be adjusted to fix this. I am not sure if they are still available at the dealer or not if yours is worn out. It should have a soft felt like cover so it slides freely and doesn't scratch the glass.

Hi, I have the same problem with my 85 GLH. I haven't had the time to
investigate.

Hi, I have an 86 GLH and the drivers window falls forward everytime you put
it up. You have to hold it back while you crank it up.

I took door panel off and can't find anything wrong or broken. Has anyone
encountered this problem before? Please help!

Thanks, Nick
