I have an 86 GLHS with an 87 speedometer overlay.  There is always the
possibility that nwe cars might be built using leftover prototype parts,
emergency supplies from back-up sources, and things like that.

Any chance Shelby dual-sourced the stripes back in '87, with different vendors
making them to slightly different specifications?

the stripes he has are not correct unless he made them new this year
because last year i bought them and they have no black in them and are
1/4 smaller than original i ask him about this he agreed they are close
but not exact .....maybe your car was painted and they put daves repros
on i bought my first glhs0965 new from showroom when i was 19 its still
original so i compared them ,not the same  the second one is glhs0138
that is souped up i just got painted and yes all his sticker are
correct except the stripes i will contact him if he made new stripes
but as of last year in july around carlisle time is when i  bought them
and i dont want to put them on until i get exact repros .thanks for
everyones input ........I know not many people make stuff for our cars
but ......maybe someone has a original roll to sell .lmk.thanks
