Caliper rebuilds are cheap so it is rarely worth buying the caliper piston and seal to do a rebuild yourself.
Rockauto.com does have them and they also have steel replacements. Steel pistons aren't necessarily good though because they transfer heat to the fluid and might bind in a caliper designed for a phelonic piston. The rears are a bit more expensive so those might be worth rebuilding but the fronts are under $25 +core each. -Rich On Mon, 28 Feb 2011, Michael Weary wrote: > Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2011 09:39:38 -0400 > From: Michael Weary <[email protected]> > To: Mailing List - Shelby Dodge <[email protected]> > Subject: SD> Brake parts needed > > Does anyone have the inner cup that is made out of the brown composite > material... for the front and possibly rear calipers on a 89 Daytona Shelby ? > 16" wheels > > Mine are chipped and cracked, and I don't want to use them > > Sent from my iPhone... this thing is awesome > ___________REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING_________ > ShelbyDodge mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.imagilist.com/mailman/listinfo/shelbydodge > ___________REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING_________ ShelbyDodge mailing list [email protected] http://www.imagilist.com/mailman/listinfo/shelbydodge
