Has anyone ever run across a 16 gallon tank? All the ones I've ever seen have been the 20 gallon ones. Reason I'm asking is, my 89 turbo mini has been sitting with a busted tranny for several years now, and I got to thinking, maybe I should clean it out and put it on the track this year. We have a nice new track just a few miles down the road from me. The 16 should be a little lighter, If I'm going to do this, I should really strip it.
BTW, Did you know that the later 20 gallon tanks, (94-95) will fit in an 89. The filler pipe and vent are the same. The pump and fuel gauge are different but electrical signals are the same. If you use the last couple of feet of the late wiring harness you can splice it into the early wiring.
