Here you go, Hope this helps . Saw your post and I just happened to have a
2.2L turbo motor sitting on the garage floor being ripped apart, so I put
the timing belt back on and set the timing marks in the general area they
should be in. Cylinder #1 should be near TDC. Distributor points at #1.

In picture #7, I marked the timing marks in red with a yellow line showing
where they should about meet in a straight line, I missed the stop point by
a hair so the line and dot don't match. I'm in Maryland, so I'm of no help
with a spare distributor.. There were a couple guys up in that area years
ago, but not sure if they are still around.

Hey Gang!

I'm stuck on I-89 with a broken distributor in the Minivan.  2.5 Turbo with
an A-413 automatic.  The metal plate that rotates inside the distributor
came off the plastic base.  Two questions - does anyone have a spare
distributor and live in the general neighborhood of Randolph, Bethel, or
White River Junction?  I know that is a long shot, but hey, you never know!

Second question - can anyone tell me or send me a photo of the inside of te
distributor showing the relationship of that metal plate to the distributor
shaft. More to the point, when the rotor is pointing at either cylinder #1,
or some other reference point, where is the open shutter on that little
metal wheel?

A photo would be outstanding if anyone can shoot one and email it to me. If
