1990 Dodge Daytona Shelby VNT· 1 of 536 Variable Nozzle Turbo (VNT)
Intercooled Shelby Daytona’s. The VNT turbo’s have solenoid
controlled vanes that drastically reduce turbo lag and increase torque as
compared to the Turbo II’s and III’s.· 5 Sp Manual·

Mechanicals· Runs STRONG! I have never taken it to a track, so I
don’t have any ¼ mile times. But the car should be at about 260 Hp so it
is MUCH faster than a stock car. · Transmission and shifter are tight
and work fine· The car has Air-conditioning, but was not hooked up
when I purchased the car, and I never wanted it hooked up as this was never an
issue for me as I only drove it on nice days. With the age of the car and
having to repair A/C systems on as many Daytona’s and 2.2 Dodges
I’ve owned, let’s assume that the lines are bad and/or leak. I have
not tested the compressor though it appears to be OK. · Goodyear Eagle
GA Tires have about 45-50% tread left· Rust Free car with original
body panels Cosmetics· Paint - 4 out of a 5. Not a “Show”
paint job, but looks real good, especially for original Factory paint. It was a
daily driver for the first 5 years, so it does have some small chips on the
fascia and on the hood. Also one of the previous owners got something stock
under the bra and there are a few scratches along the edge where the bra would
be. · Interior – like new. (See note below)· Rims. The
rims on the car have faded a little and have some stains from brake dust. There
is an extra set included which is in VGC. Items that could use attention·
When I got it out of storage this year the headliner was sagging and either
needs to be glued or recovered. This is an easy fix. · The Key
ignition Lock does not function properly. (It was this way when I got the car).
Basically when you put the key in, it should only come out when in the
“lock” position. However, the key will come out of the ignition
when in the “accessory” position as well. I just never got around
to pulling the steering column apart to see what the issues was due to the
level of work involved and it never bothered me as it does not affect the
function of the car. Extra’s included with the car· Stock Pillar
cover in case you do not want the Pods on it.· Original Factory
Computer with Stock calibration· All 3 OEM Factory Manuals from Dodge·
Complete set of OEM “Pumper” rims with center caps·
